​​​Shady, originally from Easton, PA is currently an Interventional Cardiology Fellow at Brown University. He completed his B.S. at the University of Pittsburgh and received his M.D. from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine where he served as Student Body President at both institutions. Shady developed the founding ideals of Student Promise in 2009 to tackle the main cause of rapidly multiplying student debt- high student loan interest rates.  His goal is to help students achieve their career goals without accruing life altering debt while benefiting private investors who purchase securitized tuition bonds.  "Let's use American ingenuity and private sector economics to help alleviate student debt."
