We appreciate all of the support, ideas, and communication from business professionals, staff, and government leaders about how to decrease the total amount paid by students. In order for this business model to exist it cannot operate as a non-profit organization due to the requirements of a return on investment for the participating investors.

Student Promise will also use profits to create an endowed scholarship to the UI Foundation for medical students.​
